Status and scope
Effective October 14, 2026. This draft product policy describes The Omni Lawyer’s intended handling of account details, settings, conversations, evidence metadata, and support communications. It is not a certification of GDPR, CCPA, or any other legal compliance framework.
What the service processes
The service may process account and authentication data, location choices you enter, messages you choose to submit, device permission results, subscription status, evidence indexes, and encrypted uploaded evidence. GPS is requested only after you choose a location action. AI requests are processed server-side to provide guidance.
Encryption and AI boundary
Supported evidence is encrypted on your device before upload using a local user-controlled key. Your key or recovery material is your responsibility; a lost local key may be unrecoverable. AI conversations are server processed and are not end-to-end encrypted. The product does not use your in-app content to train its own models.
Retention, deletion, and exports
You can use available controls to export records, remove local access keys, and request account changes. Soft deletion removes application-level access to relevant records. Object storage and lawful operational backups may not support immediate physical deletion, so soft deletion or key destruction must not be understood as guaranteed erasure of every stored copy.
Processors and safeguards
Service providers may process data to provide hosting, authentication, AI, storage, payments, and support. The project operator intends to conduct processor due diligence and apply proportionate contractual and technical safeguards; this statement is not an audit result or security certification.
Minors and guardians
The service is not a guardian, supervisor, or emergency service. A parent or legal guardian must make any required consent and supervision decisions for a minor or another person who cannot lawfully make them, subject to applicable local requirements.
